Find Influencer Prompt - Find Verified Creators in 30 Seconds
One prompt that returns a screened shortlist instead of a screen of results, and why verified never meant authentic.
Manual creator research is not hard. It is slow in a way that hides how slow it is.
Open a platform. Search a hashtag. Open a profile. Squint at the follower count. Open another tab to check whether the engagement looks real. Write the name in a spreadsheet. Repeat forty times. Two hours later you have a list you do not fully trust, assembled by someone who stopped looking properly around candidate fifteen.
The same search, as one prompt
Replace the variables and run it.
ROLE
Creator sourcing analyst with Favikon MCP access.
VARIABLES
{{NETWORK}} = instagram # one network, never two
{{COUNTRY}} = United States
{{NICHE}} = postpartum fitness # two words minimum
{{FOLLOWERS_MIN}} = 10000
{{FOLLOWERS_MAX}} = 150000
{{MY_BUYER}} = women 28-40 in their first year postpartum
TASK
1. Find creators on {{NETWORK}} in {{COUNTRY}} posting about
{{NICHE}}, between {{FOLLOWERS_MIN}} and {{FOLLOWERS_MAX}}
followers.
2. Return the stats below for each.
3. Split the result in two lists: worth contacting, and not
worth contacting. Give a reason for every name in the
second list.
OUTPUT
Table 1 — handle | followers | engagement rate |
avg views per post | 90-day growth % | country | why matched
Table 2 — handle | reason to skip
CONSTRAINTS
- Platform verification is not audience authenticity. Never
present a badge as proof the audience is real.
- Never fill in a missing metric. Write "not available".
- Present authenticity flags as "worth verifying", not as a
verdict.
QUALITY CHECK
Expect 10 to 25 rows. 200 rows means {{NICHE}} was too broad
and got ignored. Under 5 rows, do not relax the criteria:
re-run as a content search instead of a profile search.
Why the second table matters more than the first
A search screen gives you results. That instruction turns results into a decision, which is the part manual research never reaches because everyone runs out of patience.

You are asking for the negative list as well as the positive one. Ten names you should contact is useful. Ten names plus "these three look wrong, and here is what to check" is a shortlist you can act on today, and a set of questions you can put to the creators themselves without accusing anyone of anything.
Verified is not authentic, and the difference is expensive
This is the single most costly confusion in creator sourcing, so it is worth being blunt about.
Platform verification tells you an account is who it says it is. That is an identity check. It says nothing at all about whether the audience behind that identity is real, engaged, or in your market. A verified account with a bought following is a completely ordinary thing to encounter, and it will pass every check a badge performs.
The two questions are separate and you need both answers:
- Is this person who they claim to be? The badge answers this.
- Is this audience real and paying attention? Engagement quality, growth curve shape and comment substance answer this. The badge does not.

If the spend is meaningful, add this to the same conversation:
Run an authenticity check on the shortlist. Show engagement quality, follower growth pattern and fake-follower signals. Present anything suspicious as worth verifying, not as a verdict.
That last clause is not politeness. Authenticity signals are probabilistic, and treating a flag as a conviction is how you insult a creator who had one post go viral in a different time zone.
Three follow-ups worth having ready
Audience demographics for the top 5. Flag anyone whose audience is not {{MY_BUYER}}.Estimated price for each, sorted by cost per engaged follower rather than by fee.Draft a first message for the top 3, each referencing something specific and recent from their content.
Run those three and you have gone from a niche to messages ready to send, in one conversation, without opening a spreadsheet. The second one is the one that reorders your shortlist: sorting by fee tells you who is cheap, sorting by cost per engaged follower tells you who is worth it.

Where to run it
Favy is built into the Favikon app on every plan. To run the same searches from Claude or ChatGPT without switching tools, the Favikon MCP connects in about two minutes on the Free Trial, Pro and Enterprise plans.
