A LinkedIn creator's rate card says $2,000. Is that fair for a 45,000-follower B2B SaaS voice, or padded because they know you have no benchmark to check it against? Most marketers either pay the number or push back on a gut feeling, since B2B influencer pricing has never had a public rate card.

What it does

B2B Influencer Pricing Benchmark checks a quote, or builds a first-time budget, against real transaction data instead of a rate card that could say anything:

  • Transacted price ranges by follower tier, drawn from real client collaboration data: most sponsored LinkedIn posts land $200-$2,000, with a $798 median. The jump above 100K followers is real (median roughly triples to $2,000), but below that, nano creators (under 10K followers) often out-price micro creators, since that tier skews CEO, founder and senior B2B expert
  • Format multipliers, not flat guesses: a carousel adds +20-35% over a text post, video adds +40-80%, a newsletter placement runs 1.5-3x a feed post, and event speaking commands roughly 4x a sponsored post, since a post is inventory and a keynote is scarcity
  • Geography and niche adjustments, including the counterintuitive ones: US, UK and Canada cluster around a $500-550 median vs. France ($300) and India ($155), but thin-supply markets like Austria out-price both the UK and the US, so smaller market never automatically means cheaper. Niche works the same way: FinTech, cybersecurity and enterprise IT audiences command 2-5x the marketing-niche rate, because the audience is scarce and high-value, not because reach is bigger
  • A stated-assumptions range, never a fake single number. Every output shows which anchor it is using (median vs. mean, sample size, transacted price vs. self-reported rate card) so a bad assumption is easy to spot and correct rather than buried in the output
  • A fair / high / low read with a next step: whether the quote sits inside the benchmark range for that tier, format, niche and geography, and if it does not, what to ask for instead of a discount (a scope change, a different format, a shorter usage window)

Every figure carries its source and sample size inline, whether that is Favikon's own client and survey data or a named external study, so nothing in the output reads like an invented number.

How to install

  1. Download the ZIP.
  2. In Claude, go to Settings > Customize > Skills.
  3. Click the + button, then Create skill.
  4. Upload the ZIP (it needs the skill folder itself at the root, not just the files inside it).
  5. Toggle it on.

Next time a creator's quote lands in your inbox, or you need to set a first B2B influencer budget with nothing to anchor it to, this skill runs automatically. No need to reference it by name.

Who it's for

Anyone who just got a B2B creator's quote and has no way to sanity-check it, or anyone setting a first influencer budget with no rate card to reference. Favikon's free price calculator gives a quick directional anchor for a single creator, and Favikon's own pricing dataset is the same real, transacted data this skill benchmarks against, rather than a self-reported rate card.
