How To Generate Your Creator Rewind With Favikon

Step 1: Sign in to Favikon and install the Chrome extension

Start by signing in to your Favikon account.

Inside the dashboard, click the download button to install the Favikon Chrome extension. Add it through the Chrome Web Store and let it install fully.

Once the extension is ready, move to the next step.

Step 2: Go to your social profile, not the feed

Open LinkedIn or whichever social platform you want to connect.

Important: make sure you are viewing your own profile page. Do not stay on the feed. Favikon can only read the data it needs when you are on your personal profile.

Step 3: Use the Favikon extension to claim your profile

With your profile page open, click the Favikon Chrome extension icon and give it a moment to load.

Click “Claim proof”, then confirm by claiming your profile, and press Start to finish the process.

If you have already claimed your profile earlier, you do not need to do this again. Simply return to Favikon and move ahead to generating your Creator Rewind.

Step 4: Return to Favikon and open the Creator Rewind banner

Go back to the Favikon app.

At the top of your dashboard, you will see the banner labeled Creator Rewind. Click on it to launch the rewind generator.

Step 7: Fixing the missing Claim Profile button

If you cannot see the “Claim my Profile”  button in the extension, the issue is usually with permissions.

To fix this:

1. Open your browser settings.
2. Go to the Extensions section.
3. Click on Favikon and open its details.
4. Look for the site access permission toggle and make sure it is turned on.

Refresh your social profile after this. The claim buttons should appear properly.
